Software Development Role Overview

The role of a software engineer is to create and implement software solutions that meet the requirements of our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software that enables the control of flight systems.

You will play a critical role in ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. To achieve this, you will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to understand the requirements of the project and ensure that your software solution meets those needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in software design and development, as well as experience working with C++, Python, or Rust. You will also need to have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with others.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software development

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong software design and development skills
  • Experience working with Rust
  • Working knowledge of control theory
  • Experience designing fault-tolerant software
  • Thorough knowledge of computer architecture and networks
  • Knowledge of physics, math, and electronics
  • Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
