Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Therapy Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with children and is passionate about making a positive impact in their lives.

The role involves implementing high-quality Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) sessions in a 1:1 environment, both in the child's home, school, or centre. This includes structured and naturalistic teaching, collecting, recording, and graphing data as advised by the Behaviour Support Specialist, and implementing Behaviour Intervention Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement ABA programs for children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
  • Collect, record, and graph data to monitor progress and adjust programs accordingly
  • Work closely with Behaviour Support Specialists to develop and implement Behaviour Intervention Plans
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including session notes and progress reports

Requirements:

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • The legal right to work in Australia
  • Driver's license, car, and commitment to travelling between locations
