The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to contribute to a positive workplace culture by delivering expert HR solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

  • You will partner with managers to provide timely HR advice and support.
  • You will coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting contracts and facilitating inductions.
  • You will guide leaders through workforce planning, onboarding, probation reviews, and employee exits.
  • You will advise on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, and Modern Awards.
  • You will monitor and report on key metrics such as performance reviews, absences, and probation periods.
  • You will assist in maintaining accurate position descriptions and workforce planning documentation.
  • You will manage return-to-work processes and injury claims in line with legal standards and best practices.
  • You will collaborate with the Learning & Development Manager to deliver compliance training programs.
  • You will contribute to employee engagement initiatives focused on retention, recognition, and development.
  • You will maintain accurate employee records, generate HR reports, and improve HR systems functionality.
Key Requirements
  • You must have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience in a generalist HR role.
  • You must have at least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role with demonstrated capability in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
  • You must have a strong working knowledge of employment legislation and Modern Awards.
  • You must have proven experience in analysing HR data and generating meaningful reports for decision-making purposes.
  • You must have hands-on experience using integrated HRIS platforms.
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You must be able to manage competing priorities under varying levels of pressure.
  • You must have strong influencing, coaching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • You must demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, integrity, and sensitivity towards diversity and inclusion principles.
  • You must have a collaborative working style with a focus on teamwork and achieving shared goals.
