Job Description

The Business Technology Strategist will spearhead our technology strategy, planning, architecture, design and operations of our Workday suite of products. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving strategy, focusing the broader technology initiative across the business, and ensuring best of breed architectures and implementation patterns are applied throughout all modules and departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the functional and technical owner of the Workday suite (including HCM, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, etc.)
  • Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for the Workday ecosystem, aligning it with organisational objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
Governance & Compliance:
  • Develop and lead governance processes around configuration, release management, data security, access controls, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to ERP data and systems.
Business Partnership & Advisory:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to People and Culture, Finance, and other business units, translating business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of Workday specialists.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) and contract obligations are met.
