About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Melbourne, Australia. As a Senior / Lead Programmer (C++) you will be responsible for developing tools and run-time code that extend creative possibilities for game developers. Your expertise in C++ programming will enable you to maintain existing functionality, add features, debug faults, and improve the overall stability and performance of our product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve existing C++ codebase
  • Add new features to enhance user experience
  • Debug and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success
Requirements
  1. Strong knowledge of C++ programming language
  2. Excellent refactoring, code maintenance, and comprehension skills
  3. Understanding of debugging and optimization processes
  4. Ability to work independently, learn, adapt, and be self-motivated
  5. 5+ years professional programming experience
Desirable Skills
  • Strong writing, documentation, and communication skills
  • UI/UX sensibilities
  • Knowledge of other languages and technologies: Qt, C#, Python, Javascript
  • Game development experience (Unity/Unreal) and/or experience with audio technology
  • Mobile or Game Console development experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
