We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Education Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in childcare and education.
This role involves working closely with experienced educators to provide high-quality care and education to children. As an Education Assistant, you will be responsible for creating engaging programs, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and establishing positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
The successful candidate will have a Certificate III or Diploma of Children's Services or be working towards a qualification. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Create educational programs that cater to children's individual needs and interests
- Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Monitor and report children's progress and development
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma of Children's Services or working towards a qualification
- Current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates
- Good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
