Communications and Media Leadership Opportunity at Cabrini Health
Cabrini Health is seeking a highly skilled Communications and Media Manager to join our newly formed marketing and communications team.
This full-time position offers a salary range of $120,000-$135,000 + superannuation, as well as opportunities for tax savings through salary packaging and meal card benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective internal and external communication strategies to enhance Cabrini's reputation and influence perception among key audiences.
About the Role:

- Develop engaging stories and content across various channels to align with our marketing and communications strategy;">
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and the wider marketing team to execute on storytelling initiatives;">
- Effectively handle reactive media enquiries and proactively identify newsworthy angles for earned media coverage;">
- Own and maintain the storytelling function, including the content calendar, which outlines story flow and communications plans;">
- Deliver regular stories that support the desired perceptual shift in key audiences;">
- Develop written content that meets channel-specific requirements and supports strategic objectives;">
- Support the delivery of an official tone of voice and language framework;">
- Contribute to internal publications, including intranet content and newsletters; and">
- Assist the Head of Strategic Communications with change communications projects.
Requirements:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in mid-level to senior media and communications roles;">
- A background in journalism or copywriting;">
- Demonstrated ability to lead editorial and content planning;">
- Excellent writing skills with a proven ability to interpret and prepare communication materials for various channels and audiences;">
- Proven ability to manage proactive and reactive media relations, with established media relationships;">
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders;">
- Familiarity with marketing tools and collaboration software;">
- Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility, agility, and good humour;">
- Able to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and sound judgment in relation to communication;">
- Experience in the healthcare sector is highly regarded but not essential.
