About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Kapitol Group. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for managing the full tender process of medium to large scale projects and helping us build our pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a portfolio of tenders, submissions, and BOQs, liaising with stakeholders to produce high-quality submissions.
  • Lead by example and mentor our Estimators to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date cost information, and attend tender interviews as required.
  • Collaborate with project teams to prepare project schedules and construction budgets for handover to the construction team.
  • Continuously improve our estimating processes and systems to ensure we remain competitive and efficient.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual with a genuine passion for the construction industry and estimating. You will have a tertiary qualification in construction management or a related discipline, and extensive experience in a senior estimator role working across multiple projects.

You will be well-versed in cost estimation software, including Cost X and Estimate One, and have a strong understanding of construction systems and methodologies. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to build and maintain relationships built on trust and authenticity.
