About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Kapitol Group. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the full tender process of medium to large scale projects, including preparing and coordinating high-quality tender proposals and submissions, sourcing and collating supplier and contractor quotes, and developing relationships with clients, designers, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate high-quality tender proposals and submissions
  • Sourcing and collating supplier and contractor quotes
  • Develop relationships with clients, designers, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Review, develop, and maintain accurate and up-to-date cost information
  • Attend tender interviews and take the lead as required
  • Liaise with project teams and prepare project schedules
  • Mentor and grow other Estimators to be the best they can be
  • Preparation of construction budgets for handover to the construction team
  • Help continually improve our estimating processes and systems
About You

We are looking for a genuine passion for the Construction industry and Estimating, with a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. You will have extensive experience in a Senior Estimator role working across multiple projects, ideally in Tier 1 & 2 builders, with a proven background on medium-to-large new construction projects. You will also have a high level of proficiency with Cost X and Estimate One, and a sound understanding of construction systems and methodologies and the ability to demonstrate this to clients.
