Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Canberra team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of solutions under development, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define test strategies and plans, and manage test activities across different streams of delivery.
  • Generate test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress, results, and quality to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate internally providing feedback and actionable recommendations from internal and external testing.
  • Prepare reports on verification activities status.
  • Ensure testing alignment with software release goals.
  • Undertake system testing as required to assist the testing team.
  • Support pre-sales work, including effort estimating and proposal writing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to security frameworks, standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is desirable.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in test management across the entire testing lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience in creating and executing test strategies, test plans and test cases.
  • High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Agile methodology (Scrum) experience is essential.
  • NV1 Security Clearance.

The successful candidate must hold an NV1 security clearance and be willing to maintain it.
