Lead Physics Educator

A prestigious independent girls' school is seeking an accomplished Physics Teacher to join its dynamic Science faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous Stage 6 and IGCSE Physics lessons to students from Years 9 to 12, and Science lessons to Years 7 to 10.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the NSW syllabus and be able to design and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students. They will also be able to create engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of core scientific principles.
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the Science faculty and participate in professional development opportunities.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A relevant university degree and teaching qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at a secondary level, with a proven history of achieving strong academic results.
- In-depth knowledge of the NSW syllabus, including an understanding of its pedagogical requirements and assessment strategies.
