The Business School's most senior academic and operational leadership role is available at IMC.
This position encompasses strategic innovation, operational management, community engagement, and the advancement of teaching and research quality.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the planning and development of programs in response to evolving industry, student, and regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate on cross-campus integration and innovation in courses.
- Liaise with Academic Support staff to manage academic staffing, timetabling, and workload allocation across locations.
- Monitor compliance with academic policies and regulatory directives concerning courses.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives and address any deficiencies arising from feedback or assessments.
- Lead performance reviews, professional development, and teaching quality assurance.
- Contribute to course reviews and manage accreditations with organisations.
- Mentor staff in research and publication.
- Support course promotion and student recruitment activities.
- Represent the Business School in local forums and events.
- Doctoral qualification (AQF Level 10) or equivalent in a business discipline.
- Proven leadership experience at department, faculty, or institutional level.
- Strong record of achievement in teaching and research relevant to business education.
- Knowledge of Australia's higher education framework.
