At CQUniversity, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Academic English Instructor to join our team of educators.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality courses in English for Academic Purposes to adult learners on pathways into degree programs.

  • Teach engaging and effective lessons to students from diverse backgrounds
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Required Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A recognised TESOL certificate or a degree/diploma in education with TESOL methodology
  • At least 2 years of full-time equivalent English Language teaching experience, preferably at a quality-endorsed institution
  • Experience teaching English for Academic Purposes courses is highly preferred
  • A proven ability to teach English as a second language in a multicultural classroom
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to lead and collaborate within teams
