This is a rewarding position for a Visiting Medical Officer - General Practitioner with Obstetrics in our busy hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, investigate and provide appropriate care to patients in the hospital.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the improvement of clinical practice.
- Possess full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and/or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
- Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge of General Practice and experience in an environment suitable for the role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff.
