About This Leadership Position

The Defence Cyber Security Lead is a senior leadership role within our Cyber Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing our cyber security operations, including developing and implementing strategic plans and procedures.

This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that our cyber security operations are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, or Computer Science or relevant experience in the Cyber Security GRC area
  • Industry certification is desirable
  • NV1 Defence Security clearance is a must

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct cyber security operations
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and procedures
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical expertise to IT security officers and cyber GRC specialists
