About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in a key governance and risk management role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on IS/IT/Cyber risks, controls, and governance obligations.

This position will involve working closely with teams across the business to define, assign, track, and report on obligations stemming from regulations, legislation, and industry standards. The role will also require the ability to explain complex technical risks to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on IS/IT/Cyber risks, controls, and governance obligations.
  • Develop and implement procedures and guidelines for Information Services control testing, owning related processes within the organization's process management system.
  • Manage Board reporting for Information Services, ensuring timely receipt of content from stakeholders, adherence to formatting/content requirements, and accurate tracking, maintenance, verification, and reporting of non-conformance and corrective actions.
  • Schedule and facilitate Information Services governance forums, including minuting actions and assigning/tracking follow-up duties.
  • Manage Information Services policy updates and changes, ensuring reviews by responsible parties and adherence to approval/sign-off processes.
  • Schedule and facilitate commitments and track and report on actions provided by the CIO to the Board and other management forums.
  • Operate the first line of defence Control Testing governance function, maintaining, auditing, and engaging control owners, and governing effective control testing against frameworks like NIST.
  • Conduct IT/IS/Cyber control testing and reviews, updating control registers and tracking artefacts.
  • Document security controls, their operation, maintenance, and associated risks, and report to the Board and relevant committees.
  • Promote Information Service Governance awareness through education, collaboration, and continuous process improvement.
  • Support external Information Service audit and assurance activities.
  • Implement, monitor, and report on technology-based operational risks, developing processes and registers to govern Information Service operational risks.
