About the Opportunity

We seek an exceptional Senior Mobile Engineer for our Technology team, responsible for developing and maintaining the RACV Mobile App. Collaborate with offshore and onsite development teams to leverage latest technologies and build innovative apps and features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and test mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
  • Contribute and maintain Azure DevOps pipeline.
  • Ensure high-quality code by participating in code reviews and adhering to security guidelines.
  • Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, focusing on development and debugging where necessary.
  • Apply expertise in application architecture, mobile design patterns, concurrency, and performance.
  • Stay updated with new development technologies and implement them as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless mobile experiences.
  • Mentor junior developers, provide support, and undertake corrective actions in areas of specialisation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in native mobile app development using Java, Kotlin (Android), and/or Swift (iOS).
  • Proficiency in working with Android Studio and X Code.
  • Experience with backend technologies, including RESTful JSON APIs and microservices.
  • Ability to interpret Figma designs and clarify doubts proactively.
  • Exposure to multiple software development methodologies and styles.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end SDLC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with error identification and adjustment capabilities.
