Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Application Developer to join our team. As a mid-level developer, you will play a vital role in driving business expectations in the mobile environment.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and support existing mobile applications and feature teams within a scrum framework.

You will contribute to identifying process and system improvements for mobile teams, focusing on native Android Kotlin development.

In addition, you will provide analysis and expertise to assist in feature estimations for changes to mobile applications, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

You will develop high-quality solutions with technical design activities, supported by senior engineers, ensuring proposed designs comply with application architectural principles.

Furthermore, you will undertake manual and automated test activities, maintaining unit test coverage and delivering artefacts to satisfy audit compliance.

Your goal will be to ensure application deliverables meet quality requirements defined by the Quality Assurance area.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or relevant tertiary qualification at degree level.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Android native Kotlin technologies, with other experience in mobile development using languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C or .Net Xamarin highly regarded.
  • REST Services and Azure knowledge and experience highly valued.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating creativity and analytical thinking in a problem-solving environment.
