Role Overview

As a key figure in fresh food management, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing strategic partnerships across various stakeholders.

With a strong focus on collaboration and relationship-building, this role demands exceptional communication skills and the ability to coach and train others effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing fresh food strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Providing expert guidance on produce business knowledge to internal stakeholders.
  • Establishing trust and confidence through regular engagement with retailers.
  • Identifying opportunities for warehouse sales growth and advising on product ranging, ticketing, and new lines.
  • Ensuring seamless execution of National and State Promotional Programs.

Requirements for this role:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supermarket produce department.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs for internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent selling and merchandising skills to drive product sales in independent stores.
  • Proficiency in relevant IT systems.
