Job Description

This role involves delivering exceptional customer service support and communication to customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with teams to provide proactive responses to issues related to service levels, on-time delivery, and escalation of solutions.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong planning and organisational abilities. Proficiency in intermediate Excel or Google Sheets is also required.

You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day transport operations by influencing key relationships with carrier partners and managing exceptions for customers. Additionally, you will respond to incoming requests and queries via various mediums in a timely manner.

  • Deliver great customer service to internal stakeholders, carrier partners, and customers
  • Support day to day PC+ (4PL) transport operations by influencing key relationships with carrier partners, and managing exceptions for customers
  • Respond to incoming customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders' requests and queries via various mediums (calls, email, chats) in a timely manner

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot and problem-solve independently using relevant systems and applications
  2. Ensure timely resolution of issues by following up and escalating where applicable
  3. Escalate issues if the answer is unclear, or if escalation criteria is met

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a customer support and/or operational supply chain role where understanding of transport, logistics, or supply chain processes was crucial for effective problem resolution and providing timely solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and autonomously
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, coupled with effective time management and discipline
  • Proficient in intermediate Excel or Google Sheets
