We are seeking a Aquatics Operations Manager to lead our aquatic team with vision and expertise.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can manage day-to-day operations, oversee performance, and contribute to a safe and professional aquatic environment.

  • Lead by example and enforce all policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Supervise and direct the day-to-day operations of lifeguards, including deployment, rotations, and roster management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, record-keeping, and reporting across all aquatic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of lifeguards to ensure high standards of performance and safety.
  • Conduct audits of lifeguards and enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the leadership team.
  • Act as a member of the emergency response team, providing direction during incidents and participating in emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry best practices and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Necessary qualifications include Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program Special Facilities Lifeguard License, Alive Solutions Dispatch Smart certification, and current Working with Children Check.
  • Desirable qualifications include Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Instructor License, tertiary degree in business or recreation and sports management, and certificate IV training and assessment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including sun, rain, hot, and cold climates, indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to walk, carry, lift, reach, bend, push, pull, squat, sit, stand, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
