About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Qualified Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at Kingfisher Bay Resort, located on the stunning K'gari (Fraser Island) in North Queensland.

This is a full-time salary position working 38 hours per week on a rotating roster, offering a unique opportunity to relocate to a beautiful island paradise.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a passion for cooking and a drive to exceed expectations. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional service and contributing to the overall success of our resort.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent higher education, as well as a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Chef de Partie role. Advanced communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work across a broad rostering system.

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver exceptional service
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu ideas
