Job Overview

The Pharmacy Technician/Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering pharmacy services to various departments within a healthcare setting. This includes providing assistance in medication dispensing, extemporaneous manufacturing, and pre-packing under pharmacist supervision.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality pharmacy services to wards, clinics, and departments
  • Support key pharmacy operations by assisting in medication dispensing, extemporaneous manufacturing, and pre-packing under pharmacist guidance
  • Perform daily inventory management to ensure timely delivery of supplies to wards and departments
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by monitoring fridge temperatures, managing expiry dates, and participating in stocktake activities
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve seamless pharmacy operations and exceptional patient care
About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience as a Pharmacy Assistant/Techician in a Hospital or Community setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated competence in legislative requirements relating to pharmaceuticals, and experience using Pharmacy computer systems.
