Job Title: Music Educator

We are seeking a skilled Music Educator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, current NESA Accreditation and WWCC, and experience teaching music subjects.

The successful applicant will be part of a close-knit, collaborative working environment and will have the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds.

Key responsibilities include teaching music subjects, developing curriculum programs, and contributing to the school's vibrant arts program.

The Music Educator will also have the opportunity to increase to full-time with a second teaching area.

This is a permanent role for the right candidate commencing as soon as possible.

  • Teach music subjects to students in Years 7-12;
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of all students;
  • Contribute to the school's vibrant arts program through performances, concerts, and other events;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement whole-school initiatives;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress and achievement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification;
  • Current NESA Accreditation and WWCC;
  • Experience teaching music subjects at secondary level;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment;
  • Passion for music education and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
