Accounting and Bookkeeping Opportunity

Scotford Fennessy Recruitment is seeking an experienced accounting and bookkeeping professional to join their team in the CBD. As a key member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for managing internal accounts and operations, providing crucial support with client fee preparations, and assisting the wider business on its upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll and accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll for a team of salaried office staff, monthly financial reports, and general bookkeeping responsibilities.
  • Play a key role in rolling out a new software within the firm, dealing with senior stakeholders to enhance efficiency and drive improvements across key areas of the business.
  • Collaborate with multiple partners to provide support and guidance on financial matters.
  • Assist the wider business on its upcoming projects, providing financial expertise and support.
Requirements:
  • Relevant bookkeeping/accounting qualifications.
  • Experience with MYOB or Xero – Xero Practice Manager preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience with end-to-end payroll.
