Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant, machinery, buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
  • Perform mechanical, carpentry, and fabrication tasks as required.
  • Oversee property upgrades, minor construction, and infrastructure works.
  • Detect and repair mechanical faults across motors, machinery, tools, and small plant.
  • Support operational logistics, including setup and technical requirements.
  • Ensure the upkeep of island-based infrastructure, including plant, utilities, accommodation, and boats.
  • Monitor asset condition and recommend improvements or replacements.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialized works.
  • Record and maintain maintenance records, repairs, servicing, and compliance checks for asset repairs or improvements.
About You:
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, property management, mechanical repairs, and fabrication.
  • Hold a trade qualification in mechanical, fabrication, carpentry, or similar fields (highly regarded).
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and organize work.
  • Comfortable working across varied environments.
  • Good awareness of safety protocols and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Forklift ticket, EWP, or similar certifications desirable.
  • Boat license also desirable.
