Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Home Care Worker to join our team in Port Macquarie. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, meal preparation, social support, and personal care to our customers.

  • You will assist our customers with daily living tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • You will provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers to maintain their independence and engage with their community.
  • You will assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and managing medications.
  • You will provide respite and emotional support to our customers, helping them to manage stress and anxiety.
  • You will work independently to find solutions to everyday problems and know when to ask for help from your Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • The ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
