Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, management, and delivery of critical road and infrastructure projects across state forests and parks.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of Victoria's public land and forest firefighting infrastructure by developing strategic road management plans, managing assets and resources effectively, and engaging with stakeholders and communities.

Our ideal candidate will have strong skills in strategic road management, data-driven policy development, asset management, and complex stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in the planning, management, and delivery of critical road and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and implement strategic road management plans.
  • Manage assets and resources effectively.
  • Engage with stakeholders and communities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in science, engineering or natural resource management.
  • Several years' experience in project management and leadership.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and management procedures relating to asset management and/or road management on public land.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
