About The RoleThe **Business Transformation Manager - BOS Deployment** will provide leadership to a team or teams focused on identifying, scoping, and delivering ongoing business improvement opportunities. This role will translate strategy into operational plans for the department.
- Coach individuals and teams in the application of BOS principles, practices, and tools by building rapport, providing feedback, and overcoming barriers to BOS implementation to support the achievement of the global BOS transformation.
- Communicate narratives about the problem or idea at hand, using visual representations to engage and motivate the audience.
- Assess change impacts to prepare integrated change management plans, manage change readiness and resistance, and upskill leaders and impacted stakeholders in the adoption and successful delivery of the change.
- Identify, engage, and manage a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan, track the delivery of, and manage a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.
- Conduct presentations and facilitate workshops using storytelling to connect, influence, and engage the audience.
- Identify, implement, and evaluate the success of continuous improvement activities/initiatives to improve the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of BHP systems and processes.
- Apply an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model, and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity, and value chain performance.
- Engage the capabilities of the entire organisation.
We are looking for individuals who possess technical business knowledge, demonstrate excellence in leadership on a day-to-day basis, who are innovative with a bias to action, effectively influence others, and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change.
As a successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- A degree or professional qualification in business or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership capability in a professional environment, including solid interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and develop your team members.
- Demonstrated experience leading system initiatives/projects, ideally in a global environment with high-profile stakeholders.
- Experience in stakeholder management in large, complex organisations.
- Exposure to mining is ideal, but experience in other industries that utilise an operating system founded on lean principles would be highly regarded (e.g. manufacturing, health, finance, logistics, etc.).
- You will have an understanding/exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and organisational change.
- You will be able to establish credibility as a trusted advisor through your strong improvement, leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
