We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
About the Role
- As a Medical Imaging Technologist Grade 4, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, while demonstrating leadership and specialist knowledge.
- You will supervise an area of the department, promoting a positive and supportive culture, and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Our ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a diverse range of routine and complex examinations to a high diagnostic standard.
- Supervise and train employees and students within the relevant modalities.
- Manage the daily operations of the general imaging department, including clinical, managerial, and educational responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation or equivalent.
- AHPRA registration to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist, and a valid radiation use license.
- Demonstrated extensive or advanced clinical competency within General X-ray.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, and prior experience in clinical supervision.
