We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for providing imaging services to patients, participating in clinical radiography, and fulfilling duties in General X-ray, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, CT, and other modalities.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in clinical radiography, performing imaging examinations across multiple modalities and sites within SVHM to a high diagnostic standard.
- Fulfill duties in General X-ray, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, CT, and additional modalities where appropriately trained.
- Participate in a weekday and after-hours roster within the Medical Imaging and SVPR departments.
- Display excellent communication skills, interacting with patients and other staff.
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation or equivalent.
- National registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist and valid radiation use license.
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain.
