Coles, the leading retail organisation, invites passionate leaders to join their career-defining Store Manager Accelerator program. This transformative opportunity will prepare participants for a leadership role at one of Coles' supermarkets.

About the Programme

This accelerated progression programme is designed for high-potential candidates who want to advance their careers in retail leadership. Participants will gain hands-on practical learning experience through store placements and shadowing opportunities.

The programme aims to increase female representation in leadership roles and promote substantive equality for women in leadership positions over time. The programme is open to applications from females aged 18 and above.

What You'll Gain

On successful completion of the programme, you will be fully prepared for your appointment as a Store Manager. In this highly autonomous role, you will have significant profit and loss (P&L) accountability together with the chance to develop your leadership capability as you manage upwards of 100 employees.

You'll receive post-programme support and the opportunity for further progression throughout the group to continue to fuel your passion for a career in retail.

Your Qualities

Leaders of teams with commercial acumen, a passion for developing others, and the drive to make a real difference to their local community will thrive in this role.

You are naturally enthusiastic, energetic, and at your best when responding at pace. Experience working in a retail environment is preferred, but success in the role requires being highly perceptive, resourceful, and innovative, with the ability to delegate to team leaders to deliver key commercial outcomes.

Experience in full accountability for a P&L and for leading large, high-performing teams are both essential expectations of this role.
