About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychologist to join our team in Western Melbourne. As a Psychologist with KU Children's Services, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families, providing early intervention supports and promoting healthy development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychological services to children and families, including assessments, interventions, and support.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide reports to families and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Provisional Psychologist will need to independently arrange external supervision.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children.
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments.
  • Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases.
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills.
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain.
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain.
