Psychologist - Western Melbourne Opportunity

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychologist to join our team in Western Melbourne. As a Psychologist with KU Children's Services, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families, providing early intervention supports and promoting healthy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychological services to children and families, including assessments, interventions, and support.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Conduct assessments and provide reports to families and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Provisional Psychologist will need to independently arrange external supervision.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children.
- Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments.
- Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases.
- Meticulous time management and organisation skills.
- Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle.
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain.
- A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain.
