Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychologist to join our team at KU Children's Services in Western Melbourne. As a Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the developmental needs of children and establishing respectful relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality psychological services to children and their families
  • Develop and maintain respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Administer and score a range of assessments to inform psychological practice
  • Write comprehensive reports and provide feedback to families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree in Psychology
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Provisional Psychologist will need to independently arrange external supervision
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments
  • Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
