Role Overview

This part-time or full-time on-site position is available for a skilled Dermatology Specialist at DermaSurg Skin Clinic Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and treatment of skin cancer, cosmetic dermatology procedures, and general dermatological care for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and treat skin cancer, cosmetic dermatology procedures, and general dermatological care for patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatology through ongoing education and training.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • At least one year of full-time equivalent experience in cosmetic medicine.
  • Accreditation in skin cancer management (e.g. SCCA certification, MMed (Skin Cancer)) - highly desirable.
  • Certification in aesthetic medicine (e.g., Diploma, ACCS Fellowship) - highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical skills in dermatological assessments and treatments.
  • Experience with dermatological surgeries and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Full and unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning in dermatology.
