About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Educator to take on an Educational Leader position in our 59-place centre, located close to the beach and surrounded by nature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the team, ensuring high standards of educational practices.
- Primarily work in Kindergarten Room.
- Assist with programming and planning (3 hours weekly dedicated to this task).
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Director to enhance educational outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentoring other educators.
- Support the team with immediate needs, especially during staff shortages.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives, including art projects and beach visits.
Requirements:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
