Payment Systems Engineer
You will have the opportunity to work with modern cloud-native, microservices-based payments systems and be exposed to high-volume, real-time transaction environments.
- A strong background in software engineering is required, along with 3–6 years of experience in the field.
- Experience with fraud detection or AI/ML monitoring is highly valued, as well as a strong understanding of DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, monitoring, observability).
About Payment Systems
We are looking for a skilled engineer to design, build, and maintain payment systems. This includes processing, authorisation, settlement, and reconciliation. You will integrate with banks, gateways, and fintech partners, and deliver features in collaboration with product managers and architects.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you must be able to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, PSD2, ISO 20022. Troubleshooting and optimising performance for high-volume transaction flows is also crucial. Additionally, contributing to modernisation, moving legacy systems to cloud-native microservices is an essential part of the job.
