We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator. This permanent part-time position offers the ideal candidate a chance to develop their skills and contribute to the success of our organization.
This role will involve assisting the Service Coordinator with day-to-day operations, managing a team of Educators, and ensuring compliance with policy. You will work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes community and belonging, children's agency, and spontaneous play in middle childhood.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing quality programs;
- Managing day-to-day operations;
- Supporting the Coordinator with staff management;
- Ensuring compliance with policy;
- Undertaking administrative requirements;
- Collaborating with families and the school community;
To be successful, you will need:
- A completed or near-completion of relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services minimum);
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for quality childcare;
- Maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service;
- Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills;
- First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain;
- Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain;
