Horizontal Directional Driller

Job Title: Horizontal Directional Driller

Location: FIFO/DIDO – Ideally for candidates based in New South Wales or Victoria but open to other states.

Job Type: Permanent Staff – 2/2 rota, 5 weeks additional annual leave, up to 5% bonus with opportunity to progress.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our cutting-edge operation in NSW. You'll be part of a 24/7 extraction team deploying innovative underground mining technology using Maxi HDD rig platforms.

Responsibilities:
  1. Operate and maintain horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment.
  2. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  4. Work effectively with the drilling crew and site supervisors.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in HDD operations (Vermeer, Ditch Witch, or similar equipment preferred).
  2. Gyro experience advantageous.
  3. Pason (or similar) software experience preferred.
  4. Experience with other heavy machinery is a bonus.
  5. Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
