Senior Backend Software Engineer Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong foundation in back-end software engineering and be able to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure APIs and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of complex projects from technical design to launch.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure APIs and backend systems using PHP, Laravel, and Python.
  3. Collaborate with front-end engineers and designers to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.
  4. Write clean, testable, well-documented code and promote best practices in backend development.
  5. Contribute to DevOps by helping improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  6. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing through meaningful code reviews and design discussions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in back-end software engineering.
  • Strong skills in application architecture and database design.
