Residential Disability Support Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs in Specialist Disability Accommodation complexes.

As a Residential Disability Support Partner, you will work from a person-centred approach in accordance with the residents' personal care plans to promote choice, wellbeing, and health. You will interact positively and appropriately with residents, their families, and the community, demonstrating dignity and respect at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assistance and support to residents, including personal care and daily needs, as well as assist with access and participation in a diverse range of activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Participate in regular reflective practice supervision opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the disability or aged care sector or minimum Certificate III qualification.
  • Commitment to the principles of the Disability Services Act.
  • Current NSW driver's licence.
  • Current First Aid certification/CPR certification.
  • NDIS Worker Check, Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
