The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for suitably qualified Mechanical Fitters to join our dynamic organisation. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and a high regard for health and safety.

The Ideal Candidate Must Possess:
  1. Physical fitness to work in all areas of the mill.
  2. Ability to perform shift work.
  3. A proven safety record.
  4. Licenses for Car, High risk, Elevated work platform, Fork truck, Mobile tractor crane.
  5. Computer literacy to understand computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
  6. Previous experience in heavy industry.
  7. Knowledge of auxiliary equipment.

Wages and conditions will be in accordance with the applicable enterprise agreement and will depend on the successful applicant's skills and qualifications.
