Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Farm Worker to join our Citrus Farming operations in the beautiful Riverland region.

As a Farm Worker, you will play a vital role in our farming operations, with responsibilities including:

  • Operating tractor sprayer to perform weeding, slashing, mulching, citrus harvest/board casting fertiliser duties.
  • Basic service and maintenance of farm equipment.
  • Mixing and distribution of fertilisers, and accurate recording of fertiliser usage.
  • Ensuring onsite water infrastructure including drip irrigation and sprinklers are correctly monitored, repaired and maintained to meet the farm's irrigation requirements.
  • Maintenance and repair of irrigation lines, filters, valves, pumps etc.
  • Cleaning filters, flushing dripline and unblocking of sprinklers.
  • General farm labour as required.

Working directly under the guidance of our Farm Manager, you will receive on-the-job training and opportunities to grow and develop your skills and career.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Passion for outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions.
  • Desire to grow a long-term career in Horticulture.
  • Experience operating tractors and forklift or, be willing to attend paid training.
  • Willingness to obtain certifications (like ChemCert) with our support.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and work safely under varying climatic conditions.
