About the JobWe are seeking a talented sales assistant who loves retail, loves a challenge, and loves making a difference. As a sales assistant, you will support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and provide an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers, and community members.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
- Collect, sort, and price donations in store
- Assist in the development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on individual with a proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service. You will be comfortable aligning to The Salvation Army Mission and Values to positively support and impact the lives of others through your career contribution.
You will be an outstanding written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Solid technical skills are highly regarded.
We offer a rolling roster including weekends and the opportunity to work across various locations in the retail area.
