About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our intensive outpatient treatment service for young people experiencing complex and problematic alcohol and other drug use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to implement and deliver the intensive outpatient treatment service
  • Ensure structural and clinical fidelity of the treatment model
  • Monitor consistency of scheduling and facilitation of all individual and group sessions
  • Provide leadership and effective support to staff with a variety of roles and experience
About You

We are looking for a self-driven, credible, and experienced professional with a natural ability to lead and inspire others. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior role or leadership comparable role, and relevant health and/or tertiary education such as Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or Allied Health Sciences.

You will also have a Certificate IV in AOD or have completed the AOD Skillset/required competencies, and experience working with young people with moderate to high acuity mental health issues along with AOD challenges.

Demonstrated expertise in the physiology of addiction and evidence-based clinical interventions such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, MET, Family Systems, or other is essential.
