Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Operations Planning & Analysis team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering timely insights into Airport Costs across the Jetstar network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data, identifying trends and drivers of performance, and developing strategic recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

The role involves providing support to the Leadership Team in analysis, insight, and ensuring key deliverables are met and aligned with strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality analysis of Airport Costs, including forecasting expected financial outcomes and providing clear and consistent reporting of financial performance.
  • Support the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager on ad-hoc projects, reporting, and presentations, including collaborating with finance teams.
  • Contribute to the build of the Airport costs annual budget and long-term planning.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary studies in a related discipline.
  • Professional Accounting (CPA/CA), or equivalent Finance qualification.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in management accounting/business analyst roles.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and cause-and-effect skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) with well-developed influencing and presentation skills.
