Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, and talented executive to lead our team and contribute to our goal of delivering operational and research excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the health system and experience in health, medical research institutes, or related government departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a culture of ambition, integrity, inclusivity, relevance, and impact
  • Deliver operational and research excellence and build partnerships to contribute to greater health impact
  • Champion strategic, operational, and commercial excellence to continue the attraction of research groups, external partnerships, and funding opportunities
  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure the delivery of current infrastructure projects across multiple sites
About Us

The Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research conducts world-leading and ground-breaking medical research, developing treatments from the latest breakthroughs and translating them into real-world treatments in real-time. We have close and productive relationships with South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) and partnerships with multiple universities, including University of New South Wales and Western Sydney University.

We are strategically expanding our footprint, currently housed in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built research facility at the Liverpool Hospital campus, and will become a multi-centred Institute across three campuses in the coming years.
