Python Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python software engineer to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining test automation tools, working with Linux-based embedded hardware, and collaborating with international teams.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop new features for our Python-based test automation tools.
  • Invent new ways to enable remote, automated testing.
  • Help build the software counterpart to in-house designed testing hardware to help test device enablement.
  • Write functional and performance tests to support hardware enablement and protect against regressions.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Quality-oriented approach to software design and implementation.
  • Interest in test automation methodologies.
  • Previous experience working with Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.

Desired Skills:

  • Passion for tinkering and making things.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Hardware testing experience, such as in the IoT space.
