Job Title: Identity Management Specialist

This is a remote position.

Job Description:

You will work alongside project teams, engineers, architects, and integrators to design, build, and assure identity management solutions for various Defence identity management systems.

  • Prepare engineering documents and other design materials.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of documentation prepared by System Integrator and platform sustainers.
  • Design and deploy identity governance solutions with cloud-based applications.
  • Develop Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions for managing infrastructure, platforms, and software as a service.
  • Support the transition from legacy identity platforms to modern cloud-native solutions.

Authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Kerberos, and SAML are crucial for this role.

A strong understanding of identity concepts including single sign-on, business-to-business/business-to-consumer federation, and lifecycle management is necessary.

You will also mentor Commonwealth Cyber Engineers.

Desirable skills/qualifications include hands-on expertise with Entra ID, Azure AD, Active Directory experience – Domain Controller Migration experience.

Experience working effectively within large enterprise environments featuring complex identity structures is highly desirable.
