Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Darwin, with a focus on preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs of fixed and mobile plant equipment.

The successful candidate will have trade qualifications as a Fitter & Turner or Heavy Diesel Fitter, and experience in heavy industrial, recycling, or metal processing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily maintenance plans for fixed and mobile plant equipment
  • Perform repairs and breakdown maintenance on mobile plant, forklifts, and trucks
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives

The ideal candidate will be confident with basic welding and general fabrication, hold a current driver's license, and possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

About You
  • Trade qualified Fitter & Turner or Heavy Diesel Fitter
